J just found of Lyle's (Bo) passing.. he was such a great guy. When in Mn for the summer I met thru Minn-Max a scooter group . I mentioned that once in a while we would come down to Ft. Myers area for a vacation. He said to look him up for a ride, which I did and him and Nancy took me around showing the sights of southwest Florida. He was a fantastic guide.

Lyle was my brother-in-law, married to my sister, Nancy, who also recently passed. Over the sixty plus years I've known Lyle, I believe he never missed a chance to help someone in need. He was truly a good and kind man. I never heard anyone say even one negative thing about Lyle. That includes all members within a large, rather turbulent family. He was a rock of stability for my sister, even after the death of their young son. So often, over the years after social events at the lake, I would hear someone say, 'You know who I really liked, Lyle Bosacker." He loved his wife and his family, and in my opinion, he was very close to being the perfect man (especially considering challenges life dealt him.) Lyle will certainly be missed and especially by those of us who were privileged to know him well. We love you, Lyle. Rest in Peace with Nancy and John. Diane Alm

I was teaching at Valley Middle School when Mr.and Mrs.Bosackers's son John ,passed away so tragically. I remember Mr.Bosacker coming to VMS and somehow being able to tell John's classmates the terrible news. He was able to ,in such an impossible situation, inform the students on just how much they, and the school,had meant to their son. His message was so eloquent and heartfelt,that you could have heard a pin drop.I never forgot it. Rick,so sorry for your loss.. I still remember all the great artwork on team logos you did in "Yesterday's Sports Page" activity. You were "all-world!". Looks like you are in New Zealand.. Lyle is a rather recent Catrike recumbent bike friend who stopped me while I was riding to tell me that he too rode one of these funny looking bikes. It turned out that we both lived on the same lake in Mn. Not too many blocks from each other. Nancy had recently passed and it seemed Lyle needed a friend with some common activities. Our friendship grew quickly, and since we found that we shared the same Faith our friendship grew at many levels. I’m going to miss my new friend l, and my thoughts and prayers are with Lyle’s family.
He meant a great deal to us and will be missed by many. His kindness and compassion are rare traits seen in this world. We are so thankful to have shared time and family with him through the years✝️️♥️🙏
I was very honored to have met Lyle through Brenda who had sent him my book 'Twelve Steps of Hope' after his wife died. He sent me an email thanking me for writing it and said after reading the first three chapters he knew he was going to make it. He emailed me a picture of Nancy and I could tell by his email his love for her was so special as he wrote about his grief. In the midst of his grief journey, he was reaching out to others that lost a loved one, by talking to someone he may not know personally but reached out by their common bond - grief journey. We met for lunch at the end of January in FL and we got to know each other after telling our grief stories. I admired him, respected him and knew he was a true Christian and how he believed in 'God stories' and how God does guide us in our life and Earth Angels are sent to us. I wish I knew him sooner but God has a plan and I truly believe it was God's plan to have us meet in the midst of his recent loss of Nancy. I know God welcomed him into the heavens and told him 'Lyle, a job well done' Thank you Brenda for being part of God's plan in putting us together. My sympathy to his family and friends.
