Lynn Lois Potter's Obituary
Lynn Lois Potter passed away on January 18, 2024 in Fort Myers, Florida, shortly after celebrating her 79th birthday. Lynn was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 14, 1945 to George and Meta Hladny. She attending nursing school immediately after high school and obtained her professional nursing degree in 1963. With a strong desire to travel, she bravely enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a decorated officer in the Vietnam War.
She relocated to Fort Myers in the early 1980’s and served many in the Fort Myers community as a registered nurse for nearly 40 years. She was deeply proud to be a nurse and touched by the relationships she developed with her patients and colleagues over the years.
Lynn is survived by her son, Stan Potter (Amy), daughter, Lori Moore (Jason), sister, Penny Iwanicki (Ken), and her grandchildren, Reagan, Klein, Gray and Olivia, each of whom loved “Mana” as a close friend and confidant. While nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren, she will be forever remembered for her love of the sun and Jimmy Buffett. She will be deeply missed.
