Mabel May Halsall's Obituary
Mabel May Halsall of Charlotte, North Carolina and previously of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away with her loving family by her side on Friday, December 16, 2016. She was 94 years old.Mabel was born on December 5, 1922 in Jamaica, the beautiful daughter of Margaret (Foster) and William Halsall.Throughout her professional career, she worked in the manufacturing business working as an assembly line worker. In addition, she was a devoted mother and loving grandmother.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Denna Thompson. She is survived by her children, Hugh Johnston, Charmaine Lawson, Veronica Slater, Kerwin Waugh and Lloyd Cuff. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will be sorely missed.A Memorial Service for Mabel will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2017 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Visitation will be held for an hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 1:00 PM also at the funeral home chapel.
