Malva Jackson Phillips' Obituary
Malva Jackson Phillips of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully at Lee Memorial Hospital on May 22, 2020 following some recent health challenges. She was 78 years old.
Malva was born on March 31, 1942 in Manchester, Kentucky and was preceded in death by her father, Armess Jackson, mother Sallie Jackson, brothers Belve, Bill, Preston and sister Leta Miller. She leaves behind many family members including her son Billy and wife Tracy, daughter Marisa King and husband John, and daughter Sandra Oneill. Her grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, John Jr. and Shelbi and also great granddaughter Raelynn Oneill.
Malva loved the beach, traveling, reading, being with family. She loved country music, having a beer and just enjoying life. We will miss her dearly.
A Graveside Service for Malva will be celebrated by Pastor Bob Lockwood at 12:00 Noon, sharp, on Friday, May 29, 2020 in the Meditation Garden at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the service and to observe appropriate social distancing guidelines during Malva's funeral ceremony.
