Marcelina Irish's Obituary
Marcelina Irish, 89, of Bessemer City passed away on January 31, 2026, at Carolina Caring, Sherrills Ford. She was born on July 25, 1936, in Albany County, New York, to the late Ambrose Philip Lozano and Anna Marie Forezzi.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Irish, and son, Robert Irish.
Marcelina was a member at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Florida. She loved to cook, ceramics, and do arts and crafts. She enjoyed going to church and going out to eat with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Paul Irish (Michelle) of Tennessee, Philip Irish of Florida; daughters, Mary Ann Irish (Wiemer) of Charlotte, Patricia Bowling (Thomas) of Bessemer City, Diane Rainas (Ivan Garrison), and Barbara Irish; brothers, Frank Lozano and Dominick Lozano of New York; sister, Maria Marzahl of New York; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; numerous, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907. Entombment immediately following the service. An hour of visitation will be held from 12 pm until the time of the service.
