Margaret "Peg" Biddison Smyth's Obituary
Margaret ?Ç£Peg?Ç¥ Biddison Smyth, 86, of Fort Myers, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday April 5, 2013. She was born March 12, 1927 in Wilmington, DE to her mother, Lillian Carter Biddison and father, Charles Biddison. Peg attended Wilmington Schools until graduating in January of 1945. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Gregg of Cape Coral, Gary (Michele) of Bear, DE and Jeffrey (Donna) of Philadelphia, PA; her four grandchildren: Catherine (Katie) of Tallahassee, FL, Corey of Tampa, Sabrina and Grant, both of Bear, DE; her two nieces: Lynne (Jay) Condon of West Virginia and Leigh (Leonard) Emerson of Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Smyth in August of 2011. While raising three sons, she worked in the insurance industry until moving to Florida in 1983, where she continued working in that field. She was an active member in churches in Delaware and Florida. While in Delaware, she was a pianist, organist and sang in the choir was active in many other activities in the church. Over the years, after moving to Florida, her activities diminished but her love for the church never did. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, April 11, 2013 at North Fort Myers Presbyterian Church (PCA), 2801 Trail Dairy Circle, North Fort Myers, FL 33917. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to North Fort Myers Presbyterian Church or their Missions Committee.
