Margaret Mary Gilhooly's Obituary
Margaret Mary Gilhooly, 86, of Cape Coral, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013. She was born September 27, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Cape Coral in 1983. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles of Cape Coral and Loyal Order of Moose of Cape Coral. Mrs. Gilhooly leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Debbie Gilhooly and Glenn Thomas Gilhooly, both of Cape Coral; her grandchildren: Tommy, Kelly, Brittany and Patrick; seven great grandchildren and her siblings: Diana Ford of Cape Coral and Robert Basile of Clearwater. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Jerome Gilhooly in 1978, her son, Kevin Thomas Gilhooly in 1996, and her brother, John Basile. Margie Gilhooly’s life wasn’t always fair to her but she was as tough as nails. She always helped her family and friends and never forgot to smile and laugh. She was an amazing mother and grandma and will forever be in our hearts. R.I.P.
