Margaret "Peggy" Shecht's Obituary
Margaret Jean “Peggy” Shecht of Fort Myers, Florida passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at Hope Hospice Healthpark of Fort Myers, Florida. She was 86. Peggy was born Saturday, September 27, 1930 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; the beautiful daughter of the late Walter and Jean Hook. She worked throughout her career as a sales representative in the insurance industry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Seymour Leonard Shecht (January 24, 2015). Peggy is survived by her son, Bradley Kirkland of North Fort Myers, Florida; stepsons, Steven Shecht of Pearland, Texas and Barry Shecht of Dallas, Texas. She is the loving grandmother of Mikel (Lauren), Marcee, Kris and Andrea. She is the dear great grandmother of Ethan, Dylan, Alexis, Briella and Cameron. She is also survived by her nephew, Jim Evans. Immediate funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is serving the family.
