Margarita Alvarez, 88, passed away July 15, 2012.?áShe was born January 13, 1924 in Puerto Rico to the late Mateo and Rosa (Acosta) Alvarez.?áIn addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Hipolito Vargas; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.?á She came to Lee County 15 years ago from Orlando and was a member at First Assembly of God of Fort Myers.?áShe enjoyed playing dominos, watch TV and movies. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lydia Morales and her husband Alex of Fort Myers; Ismael Vargas and his wife Magda of Orlando; and Luis Vargas also of Orlando; 11 grand children, 28 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Thursday, July 19th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at First Assembly of God of Fort Myers.?áFuneral Service will begin at 7:00.?áGraveside service will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to the family.?áCondolences may be left at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
