Margarita Montanez's Obituary
Margarita Montanez, 71, of Lehigh Acres, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021. She was born June 10, 1949 in Puerto Rico and moved to Lehigh Acres from Boston in 2011. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church.
Mrs. Montanez leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Bernardo Montanez; her children: Marigza Montanez (Silvio), Bernardo Montanez (Monique) and Wanda Montanez (John); her grandchildren: William, Briana and Alyssa; her great grandchildren: Aria, Jaylee and Aliyah and her siblings: Anna, Dolores, Elena, Ismael, Jose and Antonia. Also surviving is her beloved furbaby, Chavo.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, 20121 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555. Friends will be received from Noon untill the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org).
