Maria P. Baker, 75, of Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Page Rehabilitation Healthcare Center.?á She was born August 8, 1936 in Bronx, NY and moved to Florida in 2003 to Cinnamon Cove and later to Page Rehabilitation Healthcare Center.?á While in New York, she worked for Western Electric Company for 10 years.?á She graduated from Adelphi University where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanistic Studies and Social Science. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Mrs. Baker was the loving mother of three children: John Baker of New York City, NY, Paul Baker of Long Island, NY and Jean Petrosillo of Fort Myers, FL.?á She was the proud grandmother to three girls: Abilgale Baker, age 9, Caroline Baker, age 6 and Leighann Baker, age 5, and was a sister to Ronald Panarelli of Duluth, GA.?á Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.?á ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.?á Online condolences may be made at: www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
