Maria Carmen Vernon's Obituary
Maria Carmen Vernon, 62, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida since 2012, formerly of Miami, FL passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 under the care of Hope Hospice. She was born March 20, 1958 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to the late John and Maritza Miller.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Joseph Vernon; three daughters, Michelle Pineda (Julio) of Lehigh Acres, FL, Elizabeth Vernon of Fort Myers, FL and Katherine Vernon of Cape Coral, FL; eight brothers and sisters, Nancy Miller, Marcia Miller, Jacqueline Torres, Androcle “Alex” Rodriguez, Riventro Rodriguez, Ammurabi Rodriguez, Maribel Cruz and Josephine Gonzalez; her adored adopted family, Josephine Familia, Melissa Vivlemore, Jaden Issac, Jennifer Gantt, Serena Lawhorne, Jafet Sori, Pablo Familia, Lauren Familia, Samantha Familia, Carlos Familia, Ana Christina Familia, Dessiree Ricardo, Jomary Rodriguez, Guillermo Yamin, Violeta Familia, Richard Martinez, Cynthia Martinez, Rafael Paz, Dr. Floris Reyes, Maria Carolina Reyes-Vallejo, Ada & Vito Conigliaro, Aldo Conigliaro, Rosalia Conigliaro, Peter Congiliaro, Ana Gomez & Carlitin Guerra, Yuri Martinez and Paul Duria, Vishnu Martinez and Anjuli Martinez; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held 12 NOON, Monday, March 22, 2021 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Inurnment will follow in the Cremation Garden of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
