Marie S. Jean-Baptiste's Obituary
Marie S. Jean-Baptiste, 63, passed away April 9, 2013. She was born December 4, 1949 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to the late Antony and Erramene (Noel) Faustin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Yvon Faustin and sister, Francoise Faustin. She moved to Lee County in 2007 from Brooklyn and was a member of the First Haitian Baptist Church in Fort Myers. Marie enjoyed cooking, reading, gatherings with friends and catering. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Jean; daughter, Cassandra Parrish and her husband Jacob of Plattsburgh, New York; sisters, Marise Charles of Rhode Island; Immacula ?Ç£Mama?Ç¥ Mathurin and her husband Raymond of Brooklyn, New York; Margaret ?Ç£Maggie?Ç¥ of Canada; grandson, Jacob Ethan Parrish and many nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the First Haitian Baptist Church, 3106 Broadway Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida 33901. Funeral will immediately follow at 5:00 PM. There will also be a visitation and funeral in Brooklyn, New York under the direction of Guarino Funeral Home. Burial will be at Cypress Hills Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York. Dates and times to be announced.
