Marie C. Morris, 92, passed away January 12, 2012.?áShe was born November 25, 1919 in Balls Mills, Pennsylvania to the late Raymond Franklin and Bessie Pearl (Gee) Cupp. Mrs. Morris came to Lee County in 1960 from Williamsport, Pennsylvania where she had owned and operated Marie?ÇÖs Beauty Shop for 18 years. She reopened out of her home in North Fort Myers till her retirement 2 years ago.?áShe was a member of the Share Club of Lee County and attended Grace Methodist Church.?áShe loved playing slot machines, traveling, cruises, the theater and Broadway Palm Dinner shows and going to the dog track and was an animal lover. In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her first husband, Quentin J. Rosser; second husband, William R. Morris; sisters, Lillian O’Hart and Ruth Burkholder. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Rae Harper and her husband Phil of North Fort Myers and Barbara Ann Farquer of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Scott Harper and his wife Julie, Tina Marie Acevedo and her husband Shorty, Kelli Farquer and Kerri Stevens and her husband Lonnie; great- grandchildren, Benito Stevens, Kurtis Hildreth, Jasmine Stevens, Brandon Hildreth and Cambria Harper. Memorial contributions may be made to either Hospice or the Humane Society. ?áCondolences may be left online at www.fortmyersmemorial.com. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, ?Ç£Come to Me.?Ç¥?áWith tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.?áA beautiful heart stopped beating and your body was laid to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best!
