Marion "Mimi" Goldstein Greene's Obituary
Marion “Mimi” Goldstein Greene, 81, of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away July 20, 2026 at Tidewell Hospice – Arcadia Hospice House in Arcadia, Florida, surrounded by the love and care of her family and caregivers.
Born on June 21, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, Mimi was the beloved daughter of Benjamin and Bertha (Schechter) Goldstein and the younger sister of Roslyn Goldstein.
At the age of 11, Mimi moved with her family to Miami Beach in 1956, beginning a lifelong connection to South Florida. Over the years, she made her home in North Miami Beach, Pembroke Pines, and ultimately Boynton Beach, where she resided since 1995.
Mimi dedicated many years of service to the State of Florida through her career with the Driver License Division. Beginning her career in Miami in 1980, she later transferred to Pembroke Pines, where she continued serving the public until her retirement. Known for her strong work ethic, determination, and commitment to helping others, she earned the respect and appreciation of colleagues and customers alike.
A talented and creative woman, Mimi found great joy in crafting and creating beautiful projects that reflected her artistic spirit. Above all, however, she cherished her family. As a devoted single mother, she raised her two children, Karen and Craig, with unwavering love, strength, and resilience. She was a proud grandmother to Brooke, Alyssa, and Hannah and a loving great-grandmother to Dominick and Mario, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
She will be remembered for her fierce loyalty, protective nature, and the deep love she held for those closest to her. Family and friends knew they could always count on Mimi to stand by them, advocate for them, and care for them without hesitation. Her strength, generosity, and steadfast devotion to those she loved will remain an enduring part of her legacy.
Mimi is survived by her children, Karen and Craig; her granddaughters, Brooke, Alyssa, and Hannah; her great-grandsons, Dominick and Mario; longtime boyfriend, Robert “Bob” Black; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A Funeral Service will be held on:
Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Temple Sinai 2475 W. Atlantic Avenue Delray Beach, FL 33445
Following the service, family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Gathering from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the home of her daughter:
