Marise N. Dockins' Obituary
Marise N. Dockins, 94, of Fort Myers, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015. She was born March 21, 1921 in Gantt’s Quarry, AL and moved to Fort Myers from Mobile, AL fifteen years ago. While in Alabama, she was very active in women’s organizations. For 15 years she lived in Worcester, MA where she was an active member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed dancing and playing bridge her entire life. She was a member of the Myerlee Country Club and the Brandywine Community. Marcy was full of personality and loved by all who knew her. Mrs. Dockins is survived by her two daughters: Sandra Peters of Fort Myers and Deborah Delorey and her husband Daniel of Paxton, MA; her son-in-law, John Ingle of Lovettsville, VA; her grandchildren: Bradford, Erin, Keleigh, Wiik, Sarah, Seth and Kaylan and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Harold Nelson of Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, George Joel Dockins on September 3, 2013; her daughter, Kay Ingle in 2006 and her brother, William Nelson.
