Marjorie Ann Lagattuta, 77, of Fort Myers, FL died April 15, 2017 in Fort Myers. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials: American Heart Association or Golisano Children’s Hospital. Marjorie was born May 2, 1939 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of George John and Margaret Lucille (Cook) Kier. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Ronald; children, Lorrie Guck (Robert) of E. Rochester, NY, Pamela Peets (Barry) of E. Rochester, NY, Rhonda Lenzi (Richard) of E. Rochester, NY, Rebecca Hughes of Penfield, NY, Brenda Geil of Greece NY; step-children, Ronald Lagattuta of N. Tonawanda, NY, Anthony Lagattuta (Lisa) of Buffalo, NY, Joseph Lagattuta (Dawn) of Tonawanda, NY, Daniel Lagattuta of W. Seneca, NY, David Satterlee (Vanessa) of Grand Island, NY, Ronae Lagattuta of Fort Myers, FL, April Lagattuta of Tonawanda, NY;siblings, Raymond Kier (Gen) of Greece, NY, Joyce Shay of DeKalb, TX and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceding in death are her parents, daughter Janice Scheel, and brother Kenneth Kier. Marjorie enjoyed knitting and collecting teddy bears. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and Buffalo Sabre’s fan. She loved going on cruises. She was proud of raising her five girls by herself and was considered by her children to be a wonderful mother and grandmother. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Marjorie.
