Mark Eric Bolte's Obituary
Mark Eric Bolte, 67, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2025, in Cape Coral, Florida.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 2 at the Police Association of Cape Coral, 822 SE 46th Lane, Cape Coral, FL.
Mark proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, demonstrating a commitment to service that continued throughout his life. Following his military service, he dedicated twenty years to the Carmel Police Department, where he served with distinction as a Police Officer. His colleagues remember him not only for his unwavering dedication to duty but also for his forceful personality and camaraderie.
Beyond his professional life, Mark was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in the roar of his Harley-Davidson, the quiet solitude of fishing, and the camaraderie of sharing a beer with friends and family. He especially treasured family reunions, gathered around a bonfire, sharing stories and laughter. He never tired of contacting his siblings in the middle of the winter to tell them he was floating in the pool while they battled the northern temperatures. His lanai became a haven for these cherished moments, a testament to his love of family and connection. Several nights a week you could find Mark at the Cop Shop either cooking chicken wings while drinking martinis with Keith & Larry or rooting for the Giants or Yankees.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine Hunt; his daughter, Quinn Rae Bolte; his siblings and spouses, Kyle & Marvin Englert, Terri Stollmer, Alyce & Steve Speziale, Barbara & Stan Moore, Dana & Linda Bolte and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his quick wit, and his unwavering love for his family and friends.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Bolte; and brother-in-law, Raymond Stollmer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital
