Mark was my husband, soul mate and best friend for nearly 35 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Peggy McLellan and Donald Swagler. Surviving is his spouse Cherry; his sister, Linda; brother, Matthew; niece, Nila; nephew, Andres; as well as extended family members and friends.Followed by many close friends, Mark volunteered at the SW Florida Military Museum in Cape Coral over the last 3 years. Always wanting to help people and that is why he so enjoyed being at the Museum helping out our Veterans, where he made many friends.Mark was a good man. We shared so many wonderful times together, whether it be going places on short trips, enjoying yard work or just the simple things of relaxing on Sunday afternoons. We would take walks in the parks in the fall enjoying nature and watching for eagles. He was my favorite chef, he loved cooking. Mark always said he was the cook and my wife was the baker.Mark was a good Christian and God fearing man. I know he is in heaven where God has set him free of his pain and suffering. I will love and miss you forever, sweetie. If you would like to honor Mark’s memory, contributions can be made to the SW Florida Military Museum in Cape Coral, 4820 Leonard Street, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
