I once shared a life with Mark while he was in Indiana. He was the most fun, most romantic man I have ever met. He ALWAYS beat me at darts at JJ kilarneys and was respectful of all the people he met. I loved him but I broke trust with him and he rightfully gave me the boot. Wise choice on his part and in the end, I married a mutual friend and have been married 27 years.

I met Mark at the closest pub in the neighborhood. Mark and I hit it off right from the beginning, he had recently lost his wife,and it wasn't so many years before that I had lost my first wife.We enjoyed talking about our previous lives before we wound up in Florida and soon started regular Tuesday evening get-together's at Castaways. I enjoyed the laughter and comraderie with Mark and the rest of the crew. Mark was a real gentleman from the old school, we agreed on most things but I could never understand his taste in music!He will be sorely missed by me as well as many others here on Fort Myers Beach.Owen Payne
