Dear Walter and family . Very sorry to here about the passing of Marlene .My thoughts are with you at this difficult time .
Dear Walter and family, As I and many West Springfield Jr Jigh School students would wait for the school bus ride home, Jimmy Barry and Marlene would drive by in his beautiful new candy apple red 1949 Ford Convertible (top down of course.). We were so jealous! All through high school Marlene was a class act unlike what we see today. May God rest her soul. I was privileged to know Marlene.Sincerely, Dr Jim Slowick WSHS Class of 1955
Growing up on Hemlock Dr Mrs. Russel always had a smile on her face she always cared about what New things my father was up too or new song my brother Richie was playing on his drum set that or she would be calling my Mom to tell her he needed to change the song or she had not gotten her paper yet or she would have a medical question for my Mom she loved her neighbors friends and her family may the Lord raise you up on Eagle’s wings and hold you in the palm of his hand Mrs Russel I will miss you
So sorry for your loss Bud. I’m here for you if you need anything..Belinda
Cynthia St.Germain You will always be remembered. Your back with your family now. Say hi to mommy.
To Walt(Bud) , Mary, Jeff, and Matt… Our sympathies to you as you honor Marlene’s life this week and spend time together as a family reflecting upon the past, as well as imagining a future without your devoted wife and mom. We wish you strength and commitment to each other as you navigate through this sad time, to care for one another and, especially, to support Walt through the difficult days and weeks ahead. It was a privilege to have known Marlene, and we certainly will cherish our memories.
