Throughout their life together, Martha and Randall lived primarily in North Carolina. They owned and operated a small business in Eden, NC, for 20 years, with Martha managing the books. After selling the business, they moved to Fort Myers 28 years ago. Martha continued working first at Steinmart and then for 10 years in an office role at LeeTran.
Family meant everything to Martha. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whether through visits to North Carolina or hosting family in Florida. She was also a talented quilter, lovingly creating quilts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her friendships were treasured, and she delighted in gatherings, travel, potlucks, and picnics.
