Martha Sampson Pomeroy's Obituary
Martha passed quietly February 14, 2018, at home surrounded by her husband, daughter and son.Martha was born to Howard and Marie Sampson, December 3, 1942, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The family moved to Jonesboro, Georgia where they lived until the move to Fort Myers in 1958.Her family and home always her main concern, followed by the daily crossword, reading and quilting the one true love.She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Marie Sampson and brother Buddy Sampson.Martha is survived by her husband of 57 years W. Britt Pomeroy, daughter Cindy Greenwood, son Britt (Tres) Pomeroy, III, grand-daughter Casee Greenwood, grand-son Tyler Pomeroy and great-grandson Sky Pomeroy.A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Ft. Myers, FL.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice in loving memory of Martha Sampson Pomeroy.
