Marvin Aaron Friedman's Obituary
On Sunday, May 20, 2012, in Fort Myers, Florida, Marvin Aaron Friedman, husband of Tina, brother of Ron, father of Ken, Leslye and Allison, grandfather of Marley, Cara, Chase and Dylan passed away quietly in his sleep.?á ?Ç£Miracle Marv?Ç¥ as he was lovingly known by many of his family and friends successfully navigated his way through many medical emergencies during the past several years through a strong will to live coupled with a belief system which fortified not only him but also those he touched.?á Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Marvin was a 1955 of the University of Maryland and practiced pharmacy in Baltimore for over 25 years before moving to South Florida in the early 80?ÇÖs.?á There he began new chapters of his life; meeting and marrying Tina, entering a new profession in counseling and enjoying a fulfilling lifestyle filled with family, friends and Florida activities.?á Despite declining health in his later years, he continued many professional and social activities which rewarded both him and those he touched.?á An avid sports fan, his knowledge and passion for football and baseball were a constant source of pleasure to him and those lucky enough to know him. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.?á The family is being assisted by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home
