There, he served as a Deacon and participated in numerous mission trips, offering both his time and heart to helping others. His church family was an important part of his life, and he found great fulfillment in his service.
Marvin enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time outdoors, tending to his landscaping, and visiting the gun range. He was also an enthusiastic sports fan, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish football teams. Known for his appreciation of history, Marvin could often be found sharing fascinating stories or engaging in thoughtful discussion. He will be especially remembered for his playful spirit and fondness for practical jokes, which brought laughter to all who knew him.
Above all, Marvin treasured his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Candace C. “Candy” (Johnson) McIntyre.
