Marvin D. Mulkey's Obituary
Marvin D. Mulkey, 95, of North Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015. He was born July 21, 1920 in Hunt County, TX and moved to Fort Myers from Dallas, TX in 1946. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran of WWII stationed in Buckingham where he met his wife, Lorraine. He was a life member of the V.F.W., member of American Legion and the Elks Club. For over 50 years, he owned and operated Tamiami Realty. Mr. Mulkey is survived by his loving daughters: Marvine D. Scott (Neal), Sherry “Shinola” Gazda and Pam Melvin (Terry), all of Fort Myers; his grandchildren: Sheila Green, Michelle MacDonald, Amber Schwartz, Doug Gazda, Jimmy Gazda and Darin Melvin; his great grandchildren: Matthew, Samantha, Eric, Brett, Jake, Presley, Scarlett, Cooper, Emerson and Landry; his siblings: Juanita Johnson, Dorothy Nell Hale, Harold Mulkey, Bobby Mulkey and Neil Mulkey. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorraine Mulkey in 1994, his grandson, Steven Melvin in 1989 and two siblings: Charlie Mulkey and Laverne Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
