Mary Ann Marino's Obituary
Mary Ann Marino, age 81, of Bonita Springs, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 25 during a hospital stay. Mary Ann was born August 8, 1943, to Stephen and Carmella Marino in Port Washington, New York. She became a professional cosmetologist and upon moving to Florida, pursued a career in interior design.
She was married to Carl Van Emburgh in 1965, and they had two boys, Greg and Todd, who were truly the light of her life. She also had two grandsons, Jake and Jenson and “Nana” was their biggest fan. She had an enthusiastic love for the game of tennis, the New York Yankees, and for making her traditional Italian recipes. Mary Ann and her life partner, Ted Presti, spent the last 30 years enjoying many adventures together including 2 trips to Wimbledon, cruises with family and friends, and owning an Italian restaurant in Naples, Fl.
She was preceded in death by her parents and will be missed every day by her children Greg (Tracey) Van Emburgh and Todd Van Emburgh, her grandsons, by Ted Presti, Teddy and family, sister Nancy Ioanna, nieces, cousins, and many good friends.
Her service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
