Mary Bartle Hall's Obituary
Mary Lou Bartle Hall, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Shell Point Village, Fort Myers, FL on August 15, 2016. Mary Lou was born in Kansas City, MO the daughter of the late Glenn G. Bartle and Wanda Mittank Bartle. While attending Swarthmore College she met the love of her life, Jack O. Hall. They were married on June 29, 1946 two weeks after Mary Lou’s graduation. Mary Lou and Jack made their homes in many different places while raising their five children. After retiring in 1983 and traveling for several years, they settled in the Bonita Springs/Fort Myers area.Mary Lou was a wonderful, warm and accomplished woman, who overcame many trials in her life with great strength and grace. Mary Lou was predeceased by her husband, Jack. And her brothers, William and Robert. She is survived by her children; Susan(Charlie)Andrade, Christianna(Jeff)Jones, Richard(Della)Hall, Jacquelyn(Dan)Mull and Jonathan(Misty)Hall. Her grandchildren; Dawn Williams, Katherine Miller, Matthew Hall, Gwendolyn Smith, Lucas Mull, Nathaniel Hall, Michael Mull, Jennifer Palmer, Michael Hall and Zachary Hall. Her great-grandchildren; Kyle and Hailey Williams, Nathan, Isaac and Isabella Smith, Eva and Rachel Miller, Madilyn Hall, and Jackson Palmer. Three nephews, and her sister in law Betty Burnett. Mary Lou will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the chapel of The Village Church at Shell Point at 1:15pm.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gulf Coast Humane Society, 2010 Arcadia St., Fort Myers, FL 33916.
