Mary Yvonne Howard's Obituary
Mary Yvonne Howard, 79, of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary was born May 15, 1945, to Dan and Ila Garner in Hahira, Georgia. Mary grew up in Olga, Florida and spent most of her life in North Fort Myers, FL. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Mary is survived by her daughters Tonya Downs (Jeff), Cori Hendry (Buck), Son, Victor Harrell Jr. (Amanda), Stepdaughter Jessica Griffin (Nate), Grandchildren Emilee (Jake), Alyssa (Ashton), Wyatt, Case, Carli, Cassi, Gage (Jessica) and Cheyenne, one great grandchild, Daisy, three sisters, two brothers and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Victor Harrell Sr., parents Dan and Ila Garner, two sisters and one brother.
Her favorite pastimes were doing her puzzles and spending time with her loving family and friends. Her warmth and kindness, even during her tough battle with cancer touched everyone she met. She was always there for a loving word or humorous phrases…OMG…Oh Lawd and many more.
Mary’s family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with the tender care of her final arrangements. There will be a gathering at 12:30 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with her funeral service beginning at 1pm.
