Mary Ann Kachar's Obituary
Mary Ann Kachar, 95 and formerly of Fort Myers, went home peacefully to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, May 3, 2013. She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on August 19, 1917 and was a longtime resident of Michigan. At the time of her passing, she was a resident at the Sister Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Care Center in Monroe, Michigan. While residing in Fort Myers, she was employed by the former Coconut Grove, Sanibel Island, Bob Evans and Waffle House, Fort Myers, as a hostess.Mary Ann leaves behind as a part of her legacy, a son, Joseph J. Colucci of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, daughters Mary Jo Stoyanovich of Monroe, Michigan and Samantha Kachar Getman of Fort Myers. She is survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Local grandsons include Ryan Smith, Scott Getman and Jacob Getman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emil Kachar, and son, Michael Joseph Colucci. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Monroe, MI and interment will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery, West Bloomfield, MI.
