Mary H. Kensinger's Obituary
Mary H. Kensinger, 87, of Fort Myers, FL. passed away May 7, 2016, at Joanne’s Hospice House in Bonita Springs. She was surrounded and supported by loved ones and caretakers during her last days.Mary was born August 31, 1928, in Mabscot, WV, the daughter of Robert C. and Opal (Waddell) Hart. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth, and sister, Betty Nowlin. Mary is survived by her sister, Judy Wiggins Lohmeyer (Rich) and brother, Buddy Hart (Judy), daughter, Debra (Paul Hillman), and son, Kenny (Kathi); grandchildren, Preston (Kelly), Nicholas (Amy) and Caroline; great grandsons, Parker and Tanner; and nieces and nephews.Mary had a successful career at Lee County Bank (BOA) as Vice President and Branch Manager. She was active in leadership in her church, and as a volunteer in the Lion’s Auxiliary, and enjoyed card clubs. Her family and her faith brought her the greatest joys throughout her life.A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 13, 2016, at Fort Myers Christian Church, 5916 Winkler Road, Fort Myers, FL. Private family viewing 10:00-10:30am. Guests are invited to join the family for fellowship and lunch following the service at the church hall.Donations may be made in honor of Mary to Fort Myers Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) on Winkler Road.
