Mary Lou Propp's Obituary
Mary Lou Propp, fondly referred to as ML, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024 at the age of
91. She was born Sept. 15, 1933 in Marshalltown, IA. She was a resident of Ft. Myers, FL since 1957, and a member of the McGregor Baptist Church since 1973.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Jack Propp, parents Rex Leslie Jay and Minnie Stewart Jay, brother Russell Jay, sister Dorthea Jay Wenzel Townson, nephew Rex Guy Wenzel, and niece Jacqueline Wenzel-Killough.
Mary Lou leaves behind nephew, James M. Propp (Deborah), nieces Julie Riching (Chris), Kim Propp, Jodi Propp, and extended family members.
Mary Lou was a stock broker in Ft. Myers for many years, working at Raymond James and Assoc. and Charles Schwab before retiring and traveling the world with her husband.
Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at 10:00 am at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Colonial Blvd. and officiated by Mark Bricker (pastor, McGregor Baptist Church). She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent to:
