Mary R. Manning's Obituary
Mary R. Manning, 75, of North Fort Myers, died August 31, 2013, formerly of Dayton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Manning; sons, Dana “Tater” Manning and Daryl “Sam” Manning. She is survived by sons, Charles “Doug” Manning and his wife Sandra and Donald E. Manning and his wife Darlene; daughter-in-law, Rebecca; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; special niece, Teryl Carney Pett and her husband Bob; sisters, Opal M. West and her husband Claude and Lillie Ulrich; and many other relatives and friends. Mary retired from Sprint after 25 years of service. She volunteered at Lee Memorial Hospital for many years and was a regular blood donor. She enjoyed listening to music, reading, crossword puzzles, traveling and most of all, spending time with her family. She was involved in many community and civic events. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 14th at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida.
