Maryann T. Evans' Obituary
Maryann T. Evans of Fort Myers, Florida passed away at Gulf Coast Medical Center on Thursday, July 8, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was 83 years old.
Maryann was born in Newark, New Jersey, the beautiful daughter to Anna and William A. Doninger. She was the beloved wife of Ron. Maryann leaves behind her loving daughter Jo Ann Evans and fiancé Andrew Frazzano, and her loving daughter Beth Churchill and her husband, Gregory. Maryann has five grandchildren: Ryan and wife, Jessica; Caitlin and her love, Javi; Connor and wife, Gladys; Dominic and Veronica. Before her passing she had hoped to meet her great grandchild, Levi, Ryan and Jessica’s son, and also hoped to see Connor and Gladys’ baby soon to be born. Maryann is survived by her dear brother Bill Doninger and wife Jane and their children, Jennifer and Morgan and wife, Liz, and their son, Max.
Maryann and her husband enjoyed sailing extensively throughout the Caribbean and the Intracoastal waterway.
An accomplished pianist, Maryann decided not to pursue her education at The Juilliard School but instead to begin her life with her husband and raise a family. Music was a passion of hers and she enjoyed playing the piano at different events. She especially loved being a part of the music ministries at her Catholic parish. She was active in bible study and Eucharistic ministry.
Kind, loving and giving, a joy to be with, Maryann is a treasure to her family, friends and everyone she met.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Maryann will be celebrated by Fr. Frank Hanlon at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 15, 2021, inside the Sanctuary at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5632 Sunrise Drive, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-3635.

Maryann will thereafter be laid to rest inside the Field of Honor Section at Memorial Gardens Cemetery during a private ceremony at an undisclosed time.
