Maureen Anne Ciampa (Wickett) of Fort Myers, passed peacefully on March 26, 2023 at Fawcett Memorial
Hospital in Punta Gorda, FL. Maureen was born February 8, 1933 to Halie and Edna Wickett in Detroit, MI.
She worked as a civilian in the Army after graduating from St. Cecilla's High School in Detroit. After getting married, Peter and Maureen moved to Florida. Throughout her life, Maureen enjoyed trips back to Detroit to visit numerous relatives. She greatly missed the cold weather and snow. She loved all the Detroit sports teams. She was proud of her Irish Heritage and loved Notre Dame. Go Irish!
Maureen is preceded in passing by her parents and sisters, Suzanne and Frances and brothers, Hal and Robert.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Peter. Daughters; Kim Packard (Brian), Patricia Ciampa-Muske (Mark), Amy Ciampa, Nicole Clark (Terry), and son Ronald Ciampa (Vicki). Granddaughters, Brianne Packard (Nikki), Brittany Packard, Brandi Packard, Jordan Muske, and Taylor Muske. Grandsons: Nicholas Clark (Haley), Caleb Clark (Krisi) and Andrew Clark. Great-grandchildren: Jaylen Bryant, Anna Lynn Clark and Parker Clark. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Maureen Ciampa.
Her final arrangements are being handled by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation
held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 11:30AM - 1:00PM in the Chapel of Light on the grounds of Fort Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33907. There will be a service starting at 1pm and
Maureen will be laid to rest immediately after her service.
