Melba Faye (Kennedy) Ford, went home to be with her Lord on March 6, 2016 in Fort Myers, Florida. Born on December 25, 1927 in Slayton, Texas, she and her late husband of 62 years, Wiley C. Ford, made their home in Levelland, Texas where they raised two sons, Larry and Bruce.Melba and W.C. were an integral part of the music ministry at First Assembly of God in Levelland and Lubbock, TX. Their greatest source of pride and joy was their family.Melba will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, their wives Sherryl and Hetty, grandsons Jonathan, Seth (Jennifer), Matthew, Mark (Daisy), Luke (Amber) and Patrick, granddaughter Amanda (Darius Cochran); great-grandchildren Nathan, Dylan, Zoe, Genevieve, Liam, Tabitha, Isabel, Amelia and Lily.Visitation will be at 10 am with funeral service at 11 am on Friday, March 11 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL 33907. Interment immediately following. His grandsons will be pallbearers.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Music Department of the First Assembly of God Church, 4701 Summerlin Road, Fort Myers, Florida 33919
