Menotti M. Melchiorre, 59, a longtime Florida resident since 1978, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Ft. Myers, FL. He was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York on February 22, 1959 to Leonard and Marie Melchiorre, now deceased.Menotti relocated from Howard Beach, NY to Boca Raton, FL in 1978 to begin his life long passion of hair design and artistry. Throughout his life he constantly strived for and regularly achieved new levels of excellence with his creative ability. Menotti’s passion in the industry was unrivaled.His creation of Casa De Menotti in Delray Beach exemplified dedication in its purist form. Being a true artist he led a life filled with many loves raging from spirituality, Native American culture, motorcycles, travel, but none greater then his family, friends and clients.Menotti was a beloved brother to his four siblings, Michelle DeStasio of Winston Salem, NC, Gloria Porfido of Merrick, NY, Domizio Melchiorre (Rosemarie) of Ft. Myers, FL and Marie Rubbinaccio (Michael) of Naples, FL; uncle to seven nieces and nephews, Eric (Maria), Jennifer, Nicholas (Erin), Marie, Frank (Ashley), Michael and Joseph; 4 great nieces, Angelina, Allison, Lindsay and Nicole; one great nephew, Eric; friend and hairdresser that constantly gave of his time and self to all those around him without hesitation, leaving behind a wonderful example to us all, of the power of treating those around you with kindness and compassion.
