Michael Eugene Armstrong of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 with his loving family by his side following a recent illness. He was 64 years old.Michael was born on January 21, 1951 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the proud son of Marlene M. (Blake) and Clarence E. Armstrong. He was a veteran of the United States Army and spent the majority of his working life as a Land Surveyor.He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Marlene Gregory; wife Kim (Smith) Armstrong; his sons Timothy, David and Brian; daughters Kiah, Mandi and Sarah; grandchildren Jeremy, Mallory, Hannah, Noah, Elijah, Sarah, Samantha, Anthony, Carlos, Jasmine, Victor, Desiree, Devon; half-brothers Bobby and Doug; half-sisters Kelly and Julie; Aunt Wanda and cousin Steve. He also leaves behind a number of extended family members and many more people who were proud to call Michael their friend.A Visitation for Michael will be conducted from 5: 00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, January 8, 2016 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida, (239) 936-0555. A Memorial Service will be celebrated the following day, Saturday, January 9, 2016, at 11:00 AM also in the funeral home chapel.
