Michael's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a community enriched by his presence, his artistry, and his profound compassion. He will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the energetic and loving soul he was. He constantly said that his life’s story could be summed up in a series of poems that God gave him: Mikey if you try to run your life, it will go to Hell, but if you let go and let me run your life it will go well. Fleshly water cleans the dirt on your skin, but my water the Heavenly water cleans the dirt within.; Only when you are tried and true will I truly bless you.; and, There truly is a Heaven and There is truly Hell, the question in the end is whee is one going to dwell?
