Michael Crane Robinson's Obituary
Michael Crane Robinson, 74, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1973, formerly of Greece, NY passed
away Monday, March 21, 2022 at his residence in Cape Coral surrounded by family. He was born April
15, 1947 in Rochester, NY to the late Arthur and Lila (nee Crane) Robinson.
Michael was a proud United States Air Force Veteran. He was a long-time member of Grace Methodist
Church in Cape Coral, FL and was a member and Treasurer of The Cape Coral Bass Club. He worked in
the automotive and mechanical industry in Lee County since moving to Cape Coral. He was an avid
supporter of youth sports and was heavily involved in all of his children’s sporting and extra-curricular
activities. He loved all sports especially baseball and the University of Alabama football. Since retiring
he enjoyed traveling with his wife and became an avid bass fisherman. Michael loved his family dearly
and was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed time with family and friends and
always loved a good story and a good laugh.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Molly C. Robinson of Cape Coral, FL; three children,
Michelle Robinson (Brad) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Maureen Vieths (Shannon) of Fort Myers, FL and Martin
Robinson (Trisha) of Cape Coral, FL; one brother, Wayne Robinson of Rochester, NY; two adored
grandsons, Michael and Colin Robinson; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 26th 2022 at 1:00pm at Grace United Methodist Church
located at 13 SE 21ST Place, Cape Coral, Fl 33990.
The family would like to invite friends immediately following the service for refreshments and fellowship
at 2112 SE 2nd St Cape Coral, Fl 33990.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cape Coral Bass Club, c/o Marty Robinson
