My deepest sympathies go out to Angie and the boys, Mike, Austin, Christian, and Tanner. And all who loved him. I can’t tell you how it saddens me to hear this devastating news.
I worked with Mike Salendar for many years. Mike was always supportive colleague, willingly offering help to others. He took great pride in assuring our customers were provided with the best possible service. We valued him as a colleague. He was funny, and sensitive and caring. But most of all, he was genuine, in all things he did. He genuinely cared about his work, his customers, his coworkers and loved his family ❤ He often talk about Angie and his four boys, it was obvious how much he carried them in his heart. If I had to share a story about Mike, its hard to choose there are so many good ones. I remember when we first met. We were interviewing him, Mike was much younger back then and I believe nervous. As we went through our questions Mike would answer each with such enthusiasm and detail, we often would get off track, Mike had us engaged and laughing. And what was supposed to be a 30-minute interview ended up being an hour and 30 minutes. But we loved him and as you know he got the job.
I am happy to have known him. My heart and prayers go out to you all.
