Michael J. Townsend of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on Saturday, October 6, 2018 following some recent health complications. He was 75 years old.Michael was born on March 10, 1943 in Baldwin, New York, the proud son of Kathleen (Swift) and George L. Townsend. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and following his discharge began working in the new and quickly growing field of computers. Michael enjoyed a long and successful career and retired as Executive Vice-President. He was married to and leaves behind his wife Jai-Eun (Park) Townsend.Immediate funeral ceremonies are private.
