Micheal David Joseph Santana's Obituary
On Tuesday August 27th, 2024, Micheal Santana was tragically lost leaving a void in this world. Originally from Staten Island, New York he had been a resident of Southwest Florida since 2007. He attended high school in Cape Coral where he played for the Island Coast Gators. His love of football was shown supporting his team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Micheal was a hard worker, and he loved his job. Outside of work he found time to volunteer with different agencies, sharing his kind and protective spirit with others. He could often be found working on and modifying his Honda Civic. He held a strong love for his family and was loved deeply in return.
He was preceded in passing by his beloved “Ma”, Grandmother Luz Santana; and grandfather Jerry Goldstein, Sr.
Here to forever cherish the memory of Micheal are his mother Elizabeth Saavedra; brothers Matthew Santana and Lucas Goldstein; his beloved fiancé Michaela Pizanowski; Jerry Goldstein, who raised Micheal as his own; grandparents Joseph and Eileen Santana, and Anna Mae Goldstein; his Titi Irene Santana, whom he declared his Fairy Godmother; Uncles George Valente, John Goldstein, Joseph and David Santana; numerous cousins and other family members; his best friend Adam Young; and his special pets King, Ruffles, and Bear.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday September 1st, 2024 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard Fort Myers, FL 33907.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that you make a donation to the Humane Society in Micheal’s name, or volunteer at a homeless shelter as he would want.
