Miguel Angel Arocho's Obituary
Mr. Miguel Angel Arocho of Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away in his home after a lengthy illness Friday, November 13, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He was 82. Miguel was born January 25, 1933 in Utuada, Puerto Rico to the late Emilio Arocho and Georgina Cortes. Miguel was a farmer throughout his entire life starting in New York before moving to southwest Florida. He was a beloved husband, devoted father and loving grandfather. His strong yet gentle spirit will be greatly missed by his family and their many friends. Miguel is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Eliades Arce; two daughters, Lissette Arocho (Javier Custodio) and Evelyn Rivera (Joey Rivera); five brothers and sisters, Emilio Arocho, Jose Arocho, Luisa Arocho, Carmen Mercado and Ramonita Arocho. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren, Sandy Santizo (Billy Santizo), Sheila Custodio, Joelyn Rivera and Nathaniel Rivera. Visitation will be 10am – 12 noon followed by funeral ceremonies at 12noon Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL 33907.
