Mildred L. Megletti's Obituary
Mildred L. Megletti, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away after a lengthy illness on Friday, October 24, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was 72 years old.Millie was born May 10, 1942, in Teaneck, New Jersey to the late Alfred Anderson and Florence Graf Anderson. She worked as a Customer Service Representative with Lee County Electric Cooperative (LCEC). She was an admirer of horses and was active in the Dixie Paint Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association. Along with her husband, she spent many hours and logged many miles as they participated in events with their show horses. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.In addition to her parents, Millie is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, William “Bill” Megletti (July 27, 2014), her brother in law, Bobby Dahms and a grandson, Adam Barfield. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her children Linda Barfield (Jim), Nancy John (Chris), Chrissy McIntyre (Terry), Billy Megletti (Chris) and Kelli Young (Bill); her grandchildren Nancy Seeley, Kyle Thacker, Madison Schaaf, Faith John, Brandon Megletti, Paige Megletti, Matthew Barfield, Emmaraye Barfield, Billy Young, Jordan Young and Cole Young; her great grandson David Barfield; her sister, Corinne Dahms and her niece Kim Menzak.A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday at the funeral home.
