It is with sadness that I read of Mildred's passing. She was a very dear neighbor who always extended herself with kind words and actions and made me feel very special whenever I was in her company. She was always a lady from a generation that exhibited gentility, compassion, and manners that are often missing in today's world. She will be in my heart and memories forever and I extend my condolences to Will who also befriended me and my family. It is my wish, Will, that you find peace in the days ahead and comfort in the arms of your children and friends. My love to you. Cynthia Wesley
Will– I was saddened to read of Mildred's passing in the News Press today. I remember my first days in Ft Myers in 1972 and how nice you and Mildred were to me when we both had offices at 2665 Cleveland Ave and I thank you both. Van R. Speas
