Karen Wolfskeil Smith
I knew Mildred as Mimi, the first friend my mother made when she and my father moved to Fort Myers in 1952. Mimi was loved and respected greatly by my family. My memory of her will always be one of a true southern lady. She was charming to be with and loved to share stories of old Fort Myers. Much of my knowledge of Fort Myers history I learned from Mimi. Of the things I will miss the most, her sweet and loving smile is top of the list. As a Christian sister in the faith of our lord Jesus Christ, I can rest in the hope that I will see her smile again when Jesus returns as He promised. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Hans, Cassie and their family at this time.
