Milo J. Ritchey's Obituary
Milo J. Ritchey, 84, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Hospice House North in Cape Coral, Florida. Mr. Ritchey was born on February 16, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois a son of the late Milo Ritchey, Sr. and Mary Kate Cuff Ritchey. Milo began his career as a Masonry and General Contractor. After working and designing a Street Sweeper, he began a company to manufacture and sell this equipment. Following his move from Chicago to Cape Coral in 1993 Milo began a Spanish speaking radio station WZOR in Immokalee, Florida. He was veteran of the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. Milo was a member of the B.P.O.E. for over thirty years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Milo J. ?Ç£Jay?Ç¥ (Leona) Ritchey of Tinley Park, Illinois, Dorey (Bill) Zitzka of Chicago, Illinois, Margaret (Bill) Scott of Evergreen Park, Illinois, Sharon (Dave) Marzec of Evergreen Park, Illinois, Mark (Kathy) Ritchey Countryside, Illinois and Martin Ritchey of Texas; his sister-in-law, Beverly Ritchey of Cape Coral, Florida; his siblings, Edward (Mary) Ritchey of Cape Coral, Florida, Thomas (Sharon) Ritchey of Chicago, Illinois, Robert (Arlene) Ritchey of The Villages, Florida, Penny (Nunzio) Lattanzio of Cape Coral, Florida and Richard (Lori) Ritchey of Burr Ridge, Illinois; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Monday, July 1, 2013 from 5-8 PM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Florida 33907. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral, Florida.
