Milton Junior Wilcox's Obituary
Milton J. Wilcox, age 92, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away following a recent illness on Saturday, August 2, 2014 with his loving family by his side. He was born December 14, 1921 at Lowell, Michigan, the son of Laura G. (Staal) and Milton B. Wilcox. In 1946 he married Grace L. Huttenga. In 1960 they moved to Fort Myers Beach, Florida. They bought and operated the Gulf View Colony Trailer Park for 11 years. He then worked as a realtor at Fort Myers Beach and Cape Coral until he retired in 1983. He is survived by their sons Gerald M. Wilcox (Marji) and Thomas A. Wilcox (Patricia) and 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Pastor Steven Adkison from Chapel By the Sea Presbyterian Church of Fort Myers Beach will then celebrate a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 PM.
