Minnie Carolina Drye's Obituary
Minnie Carolina Drye, 85, of North Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 following an extended illness. She was born March 4, 1930 in Cabariss County, NC and moved to North Fort Myers in 1947. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. Mrs. Drye is survived by her husband of 70 years, Curt Drye; her children: Carolyn Hartsell (husband, Bobby) of Locust, NC, Elsie Miller (husband, Dennie) of North Fort Myers, Jackie Stalnaker (husband, Terry) of Alva and JC Drye (wife, Peggy) of North Fort Myers; her grandchildren: Amanda, Tina, Jason, Clinton, Roger Jr., Robert, Michele, Jessica, Kelly, James, Brandy, Brad, Sarah and Dennis; 16 great grandchildren; her siblings: Nellie Drye, Beatrice Blackwelder, Faye Smith, Leola Love, Doris Mullis and James Love. She was preceded in death by two sons: Curtis Drye in 1995 and James Drye in 1983; two brothers: June Love and Jesse Love and her sister, Pauline Morgan. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at North Fort Myers First Baptist Church, 75 Evergreen Road, North Fort Myers with entombment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of the service.
